Microsoft Withdraws Proposal to Acquire Yahoo!

Before the party even started, it’s simply over. The two companies could not come to an agreement and Microsoft formally withdraws their bid.
What’s next for Yahoo and Microsoft after this? Microsoft now has $50 billion extra dollars for acquisition. Yahoo is left to make a deal with AOL or Google but is left struggling. It will be interesting to see what happens over the next few weeks.
