CBS To Acquire CNET

CBS has agreed to acquire CNET for $1.8 billion, which a 44% premium from yesterday’s closing price. Though I hate to use these terms because I consider it all media - old and new media continues to consolidate.

CNET is not just about technology news because they also own lots of entertainment properties including GameSpot.com, TV.com, MP3.com, and MovieTome.com.
